YouTuber with 1.47m subscribers ‘kills six in horrendous motorway car crash’

A YouTube star with 1.47million subscribers is in custody after allegedly killing a child and five adults in a horrendous motorway car crash.

Mexican content creator Heisenwolf, whose real name is reportedly Amado Amir Gonzalez, 26, is believed to have caused the accident after his high-powered car crossed a motorway and rammed head-first into a taxi.

The fatal collision took place in the state of Mexico on the Atlacomulco-Acambay Pan-American highway, according to local media.

State prosecutors say it happened on Sunday (September 18), just three days after he posted a YouTube video about the "worst villains in Mexico".

All six victims were reportedly travelling in a Nissan Tsuru taxi, which was clattered by a a red Chevrolet Camaro belonging to Gonzalez.

The names of the victims have not been released, but they are said to be three men aged 26, 35 and 62, two women aged 30 and 60, and a girl under the age of 10.

Gonzalez was also injured in the crash and was taken to hospital where he remains in custody.

When he is eventually discharged he will be asked to give a statement to authorities before appearing before a judge at a later date.

Police have opened a manslaughter investigation into the incident.

Gonzalez started his YouTube channel in 2011 under the name Heisenwolf.

His channel grew off the back of videos explaining aspects of popular or online culture in three minutes or less.

He also has thousands of followers on both Instagram and TikTok and has released three songs on Spotify.
