SAS troops have faced the music about their partners posting on OnlyFans.
One soldier's partner made a claim she had made £4,000 in a week posting pictures on the subscription site.
The woman was thought to be wearing a piece of SAS clothing.
Pictures of the woman have since been removed and sources told The Mirror that an official order had gone out banning partners from selling pictures on the site.
Members of the SAS have been warned that Chinese and Russian spies could get a hold of valuable information from the online posts.
One source said: "Posting images on social media for members of the Special Forces is frowned upon. But mistakes happen.
"Troops have been warned about posting on TikTok and using apps like Strava as well as dating apps.
"These can help enemies of the state build up a profile of someone."
The Daily Star has contacted the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for comment.
The ban at the SAS HQ in Hereford follows a crackdown by the US Navy Seals and Delta Force operators.
This warning also comes after a Royal Navy officer posted dozens of explicit pics on the site, some of which featuring her boyfriend.
Lieutenant Claire Jenkins, 29 was known as Cally Taylor on Only Fans and her partner, Liam Doddington are both based the Faslane nuclear submarine HQ in HMNB Clyde, near Glasgow.
The Navy launched an investigation after the images and footage came to light amid concerns the pair could be blackmailed by foreign agents.
The MOD said: "Where personnel fail to act in accordance with standards, we will not hesitate to take action."
