Radcliffe baby death: Stunned family reveal 'killer' dad was planning boy's first birthday party just days before 'hurling son to death in river'

A DAD was planning his son's first birthday just days before he was arrested for allegedly throwing the baby to his death from a bridge in a Moses basket.

Zak Eko Bennett, was arrested inside the Lock Keeper pub in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, at around 4.30pm yesterday.

He had wandered in and asked for a drink just minutes after hurling 11-month-old Zakari to his death, reports claim.

Zakari's maternal great-grandfather has now revealed Bennett was busy planning the tot's first birthday party next month.
