Princess Eugenie celebrated the birth of her first child alongside husband Jack Brooksbank last week, though the pair are yet to reveal their baby's name.
A recent report has suggested that the couple could give their new baby boy a unique middle name in honour of one of father Jack's late ancestors.
Emily Andrews of The Mail on Sunday reported that the doting parents will opt for the middle name Stamp for their son as a form of tribute to Stamp Brooksbank, who was a Governor of the Bank of England during the mid-18th century.
Stamp Brooskbank is Jack's great-great-great-great-grandfather.
Both Jack and Princess Eugenie were pictured gleaming from ear to ear as the proud parents of their first child on their way home from Portland Hospital in London.
Buckingham Palace were quick to express their joy over the both, releasing a statement that read: "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present. The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz."

"This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York's first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."
Eight strange baby traditions Royals have to follow after giving birth
Both Princess Eugenie and older sister Princess Beatrice were also born at Portland Hospital in Westminster in 1990 and 1988 respectively.
Eugenie's mother – Sarah, Duchess of York was the first royal to give birth in a non-NHS hospital when she had her daughters. Eugenie's baby boy is born 11th-in-line to throne but will go without a royal title as these are only inherited through the male line.
Princess Eugenie broke royal protocol when she revealed the first picture of the baby via Instagram, a touching black and white image of both parents holding the child's hand.
