Pregnant woman, 21, found decapitated ‘after seeking divorce from husband’

The body of a pregnant has been found was found decapitated in the flat where she lived after blood from her gruesome death began dripping into the flat below.

Shokhnazar Shosafarov allegedly tied up wife Shabham Shosafarov, 21, before stabbing her twice in the chest and finally severing her head, according to reports from law enforcement.

The couple’s two young children, a son aged two and a daughter aged four months, were also in the flat in the Russian city of Perm when the gruesome alleged murder was carried out.

After the alleged murder, Mr. Shosafarov took his children to his mother-in-law.

He then went out into the street and met his father-in-law Khodzhikurbon Rasulov, 48, who was on his way home from work and killed him in the street.

Reports say that Mr. Rasulov suffered more than 110 stab wounds.

Mr. Shosafarov was taken back to the crime scene by police as part of their investigations. Upon arrival they found that a group of people had gathered ‘demanding to lynch him’, and he had to be escorted from the scene under police protection.

Onlookers reported that Mr. Shosafarov look “very calm”.

The couple were married two years prior in a large ceremony, but one neighbour reported that they had only seen Shabham once, on her wedding day.

Shabham was allegedly killed after demanding a divorce from her abusive husband, before running away from the flat in an attempt to reach her father.

However, her husband caught her and forced her back to the flat, where he is alleged to have then tied her up and killed her.

Mr. Shosafarov is being investigated for a double murder, and if convicted will face a maximum penalty of life in prison.
