Meghan Markle praised for comment to royal fan in TikTok video seen 2m times

A video of Meghan Markle recorded by a smitten fan has gone viral on TikTok and has her admirers praising her for a comment about men who "support us".

In the clip, uploaded on the video-sharing app by user @aneesaa98 but recorded a couple of years previously in London, Meghan is out and about on a royal visit.

The Tiktoker then says: "Celebrate the women we love!"

Meghan turns to her and says: "Yes, excellent, perfect, and the men that support us."

The video, recorded in 2019 while Meghan was pregnant with Archie, has since been watched more than 2.7 million times and Meghan's admirers have heaped praise on her natural charm and choice of words.

One fan said: "She’s so sweet and kind I really don’t know how people can hate her just for telling the truth."

Another one commented: "It was so sad to hear what they’ve had to go through. Mental health does not discriminate."

"She’s honestly amazing," gushed a third.

A fourth viewer wrote: "She is so strong and independent the interview just underlines that all."

This comes after it was revealed Meghan and Prince Harry's first Netflix project will be a documentary about the Invictus Games.

In a statement, Harry said: "Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve."

The word Invictus means unconquered and Harry founded the global sporting event for wounded servicemen and servicewomen after being inspired by the US Warrior Games.
