Man busted for filming pal as he fired projectiles at gas station clerk

Police arrested a man who filmed as his pal fired a Roman candle at a Canadian gas station employee in a terrifying scene caught on surveillance video.

The two men entered Petro Canada gas station in Mississauga — a large city neighboring Toronto — just after midnight July 4, O.Canada.com reported.

Video released by Peel Regional Police shows the men going to the back of the store to check their hair before they walk up to the clerk — one of them lighting a Roman candle and firing multiple flaming projectiles at the cowering employee.

In total, 10 projectiles were fired, according to the local outlet — some at close range.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Mumin, 21, of Toronto, allegedly filmed the entire ordeal, according to the report.

Mumin was arrested Sunday, more than three months after the incident, and charged with assault with a weapon, mischief endangering life and forcible confinement, the outlet reported.

The clerk suffered minor injuries.

Police are still searching for the man who aimed the fireworks at the clerk.
