Chaos outside McDonald’s sees huge brawl break out as passersby scream ‘enough’

A massive street brawl broke out on a busy high street outside a McDonald's in Liverpool this afternoon that left passersby battling to drag people out of the melee.

The terrifying fight broke out at around 1.45pm on Lord Street near to the McDonald's, the ECHO reports.

Footage captured at the scene shows a huge crowd of people piling into the brawl as someone in a green coat can be seen struggling on the floor.

At one point in the shocking video, a man with a walking stick falls over on the floor before he gets up.

The person in the green coat gets up and also runs away from the fight.

Shouting and screaming can be heard as bystanders look on and appear to try and break up the fight.

In one clip someone falls to the floor near to a blue bin and two men approach him.

One of the men, dressed in a black coat and shorts, can be heard saying "f****** come on then" and appears to shove him.

He and the other man wearing all black then appears to try and grab the person on the floor next to the blue bin as people watch in confusion.

A woman in a red coat can then be heard shouting "stop it, enough" as she approached the group.

Other people shout "enough" and one of the men can be seen holding the person who was on the floor by his shoulders.

The woman in red appears to say something to the pair as other people also speak to them and the man then lets go of the person on the floor.

At the end of the video she can be heard saying "grow up" as the person sitting on the floor gets up and appears to walk off.

It is unclear if anyone sustained serious injuries in the fight, and no motive has yet been offered to explain what happened or why.

Merseyside Police have been approached for comment.
