A Bronx shoplifter stabbed a security guard with a pair of scissors when he tried to stop him from leaving with the loot, cops said Thursday.
The crook grabbed about $110 worth of clothing from the Marshalls department store on West 225th Street in Marble Hill around 12:30 p.m. September 5, police said.
He placed the items inside a backpack and attempted to leave, when the 25-year-old guard confronted him, according to cops.
The thief then allegedly stabbed the worker in the arm with a pair of scissors before fleeing through the front door.
He was last seen on foot heading toward Broadway. Cops describe him as about 6 feet tall with a dark complexion, weighing about 200 pounds, with brown eyes and long black dreadlocks.
He was last seen wearing a black du-rag, red T-shirt, a surgical mask and black pants.
The security guard refused medical attention for a minor puncture wound.
