ABERDEEN has been placed under new lockdown restrictions following a coronavirus outbreak.
Nicola Sturgeon announced today in her daily briefing that in an attempt to contain the cluster, new lockdown rules will be introduced from today.

When will the lockdown begin?
Speaking at the coronavirus briefing in Edinburgh, the First Minister said that restrictions would be starting today.
It comes after 36 new cases came from the Grampian area.
She said: "The last thing we want to do is reimpose these restrictions but this outbreak reminds us how contagious this virus is.
"Right now, the restrictions that we are announcing apply to Aberdeen city, and I want to be clear about that"
Are pubs affected?
Bars have been asked to close by 5pm today.
This includes all indoor and outdoor hospitality.
However takeaway services may operate and hotel restaurants can continue to serve residents.
Can I travel to and from Aberdeen?
A travel ban is to be introduced, limiting recreational travel to five miles within Aberdeen.
This does not apply to those traveling to and from work, however all commuters are asked to remain vigilant.
Visiting other households is not permitted, nor are indoor activities. However, those who live on their own may continue to socialise with family members.
