Elite fans can hardly wait for the new season, with season four releasing this week on June 18. The Spanish Netflix series has had plenty of drama along the way and plenty of romance to match it. One dramatic moment is Marina Nunier Osuna’s (Maria Pedraza) death in season one, but who killed her?
Who killed Marina in Elite season 1?
The biggest moment of season one came during the final episodes when it was revealed who Marina’s murderer was.
During the reveal, it turned out Polo (Alvaro Rico) was behind the murder and that the crime was covered up by his long-time girlfriend Carla (Ester Exposito).
Marina was pregnant with Polo’s child, but Nano (Jaime Lorente) was accused of murder and sent to prison for the crime.
However, it was thanks to Nano’s brother Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) that Nano was proved to be innocent and let free.
Once freed Nano and Samuel stagged kidnapping Guzman (Miguel Bernardeau), who was Polo’s best friend, in an effort to put pressure on Polo to confessing.
However, the plan didn’t work and Polo walked away free at the end of the season.
The series has been following the aftermath of three work-class teenagers that joined a private school.
Fans have loved the series for its intense afterschool drama and on-campus flings.
The trailer for season four doesn’t reveal much, however, but the usual romantic conflicts can be expected once again.
The show has continued to increase in popularity, with the show becoming one of Netflix’s most popular Spanish series.
Fans will have to wait and see for season four, with there certainly being more high-stakes drama during the season.
Season four of the series will be available to watch from June 18 and promises to be another shocking season.
Most of the cast are returning once again, with a lot of changes in store for them.
Love triangles are the aim of the game in season four, shaking up many of the established relationships that have been build over the past three seasons.
Fans don’t have long to find out what will happen in season four, with all eight episodes being available to watch as soon as the season drops.
Netflix is not slowing down with the show eight, with season five already being confirmed for a 2022 release.
Fans have been sharing their theories about season four, with many of them taking to the comments of the official trailer with Netflix dropped on YouTube last month.
One fan said: “No one wants to see Guzman with someone that isn’t Nadia”
Another fan added: “This is the only show where anyone can fall for anyone at any time.”
A third fan commented: “So you’re telling me after everything Andre and Omar went thru, someone is coming in between them again?”
Elite is available to watch exclusively on Netflix.
