Our Yorkshire Farm season four has began on Channel 5, seeing the return of everyone’s favourite shepherdess Amanda Owen, husband Clive and their nine children. The behind-the-scenes series follows the large family in everyday life, seeing how they balance running the farm with taking care of each other. There will be plenty more episodes on the way as well as a new contract has been signed for the show’s extended return.
Last month, Channel 5 revealed Our Yorkshire Farm will be back with 20 more new episodes.
A two-year deal has been made with Amanda, giving Channel 5 even more access to their lives at Ravenseat Farm.
Up until now, the most episodes one series has had is eight so it seems likely that these 20 episodes are going to be split between future series.
So there is no need to worry about the documentary series being cancelled any time soon.
Where is Our Yorkshire Farm filmed?
Ravenseat Farm is a 2,000-acres working farm, situated in Upper Swaledale in North Yorkshire.
The valley is a short distance away from the town of Keld and is located about halfway on the popular Coast to Coast Walk.
This walk runs from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay and runs for 182 miles.
The Coast to Coast Walk was made famous by English hiker and author Alfred Wainwright who took the journey himself and documented his travels.
If you want to visit the area where Our Yorkshire Farm is filmed then fans will be thrilled to learn you can actually stay on the land itself.
According to Amanda’s website Yorkshire Shepherdess, you can stay at the Shepherd’s Hut on the farm for £90 per night for two people.
Alternatively, you could stay at the six-bedroom farmhouse which would set you back £175 per night.
At the minute though, the Owens are not taking any reservations due to COVID-19 restrictions.

When Our Yorkshire Farm returned earlier this month, Amanda and Clive had some big news.
They had decided to buy a dilapidated farmhouse near to Ravenseat Farm which they are all going to move to.
The property needs plenty of renovation work done before they can call it their home and will need to find a way of moving their flock and other animals.
But Amanda has said she will be keeping fans updated on their progress in the build-up to the big move.
On the show, Amanda said: “When the opportunity came up and I saw that ‘for sale’ sign go up, it was like a no-brainer.
“The opportunity to get that doesn’t come up that often. I needed to buy it because it’s security, for us and for the children.
“I couldn’t believe it when I bought it. I was like, ‘Oh what have I done!’
“It’s so exciting but scary as well as it’s a big undertaking.”
Our Yorkshire Farm is available to watch on Channel 5.
