Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible 7 in crisis again as train brought in for stunt smashes into a motorway bridge

CRUISE sorry now?

Tom Cruise’s new Mission: Impossible movie runs into yet another problem.

Despite a police escort, a battered train carriage being used for stunts became wedged under a low railway bridge while on a transporter.

The shunt brought rush-hour traffic to a standstill in Chesterfield, Derbys.

Cars at the Horns Bridge roundabout – one of the busiest in the area – were at a halt while the vehicle was freed.

It also delayed shooting of the seventh instalment of the hit franchise, already beset by Covid hold-ups.

At least it hasn’t gone off the rails completely.

The movie is expected out in cinemas next May.
