NBC’s thrilling drama returned to screens for a ninth instalment in October, after a jaw dropping finale. The premiere saw the reunification of the task force after fans doubted anything could bring The Blacklist team back together. Aram star Amir Arison penned a heartfelt birthday message to his fellow task force member.

The actor posted a collage of photos of his character alongside Harold Cooper (played by Harry Lennix).

In the caption, Amir wrote: “Aram has been giving Cooper updates for nine years and @harrylennix has been giving me friendship & mentorship all that time as well.”

He continued: “I’m very fortunate for my job @nbcblacklist for so many reasons, #HarryLennix is obviously a main one, #HAPPYBIRTHDAY Friend and to many more!!!”

Since Aram first joined The Blacklist in season one he worked closely with Harold who hired him for his extensive skills.

As his background in working with the NSA for 14 years came in handy, Aram became an FBI special agent and later joined the task force.

Viewers enjoyed watching the team work together on some of the most challenging cases, however, it all came to a halt after Liz’s shock murder in the season eight finale.

When The Blacklist season nine premiered it returned with a two-year time jump which saw each member focused on their own thing, with no means of communication with each other.

It was revealed Aram and his partner founded a security software company, which promised to secure his family’s future.

The Time jump also showed how Cooper got the task force back together after he learned Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq) was injured in the line of fire, after becoming a cop.

Although he agreed to reunite with the rest of the team, fans believe Aram will be faced with a tough decision and have to choose between his business or the team.

While viewers wait to find out if he will join his friends on more investigations, it appeared as though the actors are just as close off the screen.

In the comments underneath the birthday message, Harry responded with: “Thank you, my friend! I am grateful for you.”

Other viewers also shared their well wishes for the actor on his 57th birthday, while others admired their friendship.

SuchiPillai wrote: “Happy birthday @harrylennix thank you for the entertainment.. all good wishes.”

While dishysir05 commented: “Love the dynamics between the blacklist cast.”

AlisonHofer shared her admiration for the two actors: “You are both BRILLIANT. THANK YOU for your work.”

Episode three titled ‘The SPK’ had a potential investor for Aram’s business finally come along which pleased his mother.

While an investment would secure his future, he felt conflicted about permanently leaving the FBI task force.

He was further spun into confusion after he helped save a church full of innocent people from an IED.

Fans have also questioned whether Aram’s potential departure from the task force could hint at his exit from the show, for the answer viewers will have to stay tuned.

The Blacklist season nine, part two returns January 6 on NBC.
