Strictly Come Dancing sign Bros legend Matt Goss as 8th star for 2022 show | The Sun

BROS star Matt Goss has been announced as the latest celebrity to join the Strictly Come Dancing line-up.

The singer, 53,  – the eighth star named for the upcoming series – was revealed on This Morning today after jetting into the UK from LA  a few days ago.

He said: “I’m extremely nervous and excited, but I’m optimistic because I’m very supple from the knees down.”

Matt is well-loved for being one half of 1980s pop group Bros, which stars his brother Luke as the drummer.

He previously appeared on the Christmas special in 2013.

The When Will I Be Famous? singer hit headlines in 2018 after the release of the Bros documentary After The Screaming Stops, which saw him embroiled in screaming rows with Luke as they attempted to make a comeback.

He later revealed he was forced to sell a range of designer watches to keep a float when they split up in 1992, with debts of half a million pounds.

Earlier today KISS FM Dj Tyler West was the seventh name revealed to be competing against the likes of Paralympic hero Ellie Simmonds and  comedian Jayde Adams to battle it out for the Glitterball trophy.
