Spoilers: The end for Cain in Emmerdale as Malone has him sent to prison?

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has went toe-to-toe with some nasty people during his time in Emmerdale, but he may well have met his match in sinister DI Malone (Mark Womack), who is determined to have him sent to prison at all costs — and it appears as if he might actually get his wish as, in the coming episodes, he sets the hard-man up.

Cain and Billy’s (Jay Kontzle) job for Malone gets underway, but Cain refuses to accept payment for the courier job, as the drug dealer finishes putting the package into his car.

Meanwhile, Will (Dean Andrews) finishes up his big job for Malone, but matters are complicated when he learns that Malone is not only intent on setting Billy and Cain up, but that he also plans to arrest them personally.

As Cain and Billy drive home on a country road, they discover a police car attempting to pull them over, and they’re all the more alarmed when they realise that Malone is in said vehicle.

Before long, they realise that the whole thing has been a set up.

Has Malone finally succeeded in teaching Cain who’s boss?

Will he put Cain behind bars?

It seems as if the dodgy detective has him exactly where he wants him.
