Spoilers: Cain takes shocking revenge on Jamie in Emmerdale

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) decides that enough is enough where Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) is concerned in Emmerdale, and therefore decides to take drastic action.

Jamie has done nothing but cause a lot of grief for the Dingle clan, and it seems as if both Sam (James Hooton) and Cain decide to fight back next week.

The catalyst in their revenge scheme is an altercation that Jamie has with Lydia (Karen Blick).

When Sam gets wind of said altercation, he promises Jamie will get what’s coming to him, and thus he and Cain head up to Home Farm to have it out with the young man.

Meanwhile, at Home Farm, Jamie pours himself a brandy to drown his sorrows, when he begins to hear some mysterious and ominous noises coming from the house.

He braces himself to search the building, but as he heads for the staircase, a noise from the kitchen diverts his attention — therefore, he doesn’t see Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) with a crowbar!

Jamie returns to his brandy, but he’s soon confronted by Sam and Cain!

The Dingles want a ‘chat’ with the young man, but as they converse, they’ve no idea that Mackenzie is watching and, perhaps more importantly, listening.

Cain reveals is plan to a drunk Jamie, but what does said plan entail?

What’s more, what will Mackenzie do with the information he overhears?
