Sinitta, 57, joined the Loose Women panel to talk about her latest role in the stage production of Chicago in which she plays Mama Morton in the iconic musical. The panel of the ITV chat show wanted to grill their guest on a few other subjects, including her friendship with music mogul Simon Cowell, 61. However, as she began to rant about how the talent show guest helped her through the pandemic, the singer apologised for letting slip a mild expletive.

The moment came as Sinitta talked about contracting coronavirus whilst residing in America during the global health crisis.

As she wasn’t allowed to leave the house in line with self-isolation guidance, the singer had to make contact with the outside world via video calls and messages.

Explaining to the panel how Simon managed to find a loophole to see her, she said she received a phone call from the music mogul.

He told her to go outside and look out at the beach in California and when she did, she saw the talent show judge scooting by on his jet ski.

Commenting on her friend’s efforts to make contact with her, she called him a “b****y idiot” but immediately realised she made a slip-up and apologised to viewers.

“Oh, sorry,” she told the presenters as she looked on awkwardly before quickly moving on with the interview.
