This Morning viewers shared their delight at Line of Duty’s Anna Maxwell Martin "laughing so much" during her interview with Phil and Holly today.
The actress, who plays DCS Patricia Carmichael in the hit BBC show, burst into spontaneous laughter as the pair quizzed her about the identity of secret organized crime leader ‘H’.
It was seen as a deliberate ploy by Martin to avoid revealing whether or not she was in fact 'H' as suspected by fans of the show, but seemed to annoy Phillip Schofield who was accused of being "very aggressive" towards her.
When asked by Schofield whether she was ‘gunning for Kate’ (good cop DI Kate Fleming in the show) or had ‘bigger fish to fry’ Martin laughed loudly, claiming she couldn’t remember much about filming because she was in the middle of also recording another show at the time.
Phil then said: “Let me remind you of something that set social media alight last night and don’t claim to me that you can’t remember this moment.”
Maxwell replied: “That’s very aggressive Phil!”
To which he referenced her tapping a table ‘four times’. “That’s morse code for H!” Phil exclaimed.
But Maxwell just shrugged and laughed again.
Social media users took to Twitter to comment on the awkward interview, as many shared their delight at Anna's giggling.
One wrote: The most hilarious interview with Anna Maxwell #Lineofduty today on #ThisMorning who obviously can’t say anything…bless – so funny!
Another added: I need the same amount of serotonin Anna Maxwell Martin has on a Monday Morning.
But some revelled more in the fact that she was annoying Phil, tweeting: "Anna is p***ing Smug off and I'm loving it #ThisMorning."
After an ad break following the interview Phillip shared his theory as he told viewers, “We’ve just spent the entire break analysing saying that Anna Maxwell Martin was laughing a lots because she was nervous about giving anything away.

"Who do you think then because what’s interesting is when no one agreed on who they think H is?"
Holly said of her character Carmichael: “I think she’s bad but then I struggle as I think maybe that’s a bit obvious. I think she’s going to come good. I think she is like bad girl come good.”
