Loose Women star Penny Lancaster broke down crying as she discussed her experience with menopause on Monday's show.
The former model appeared on today's episode (September 27) of the ITV daytime series, where she burst out in tears as she discussed her rise in anxiety after going through the menopause.
Recalling a recent doctor's visit, Penny grew teary and was comforted by her fellow panellists Ruth Langsford, Judi Love and Jane Moore.
"Are you alright?" Ruth asked, to which Penny nodded.
Penny added, with her voice tightening at the end of her sentence: "You feel guilty for being upset.
"You burst into tears and you don't know why you're crying."

She was then passed a tissue by Ruth and proceeded to wipe tears from her face and said: "My anxiety's gone through the roof and where I've always been very patient, I feel like I'm losing grip."
Loose Women viewers were quick to share their admiration for Penny's candour on the programme on Twitter.
