Liam Gallagher confirms Oasis reunion insisting 'it's gonna happen' as band predicted to get back together THIS year

LIAM Gallagher has sent Oasis fans wild insisting the band will reunite this year after more than a decade apart.

The 48-year-old took to Twitter to tell his followers "it's going to happen" after one young fan begged the rockstar to "bring Oasis back".

Liam, who publicly fell out with brother Noel, 53, in 2009 – seeing the iconic band dispelled – looks ready to turn a new leaf with his older sibling.

The singer seems to be confirming predictions made by fans on social media last month that Oasis would reform in 2021.

One fan wrote to the rockstar: "I need you to give me hope that Oasis will come back. Please, I'm 19 years old. I want to live that concert."

"It's gonna happen," Liam simply replied, not giving any further details of when or how he and brother Noel would be reunited.

Fans went mad over the admission, with many commenting they were "crying" and "so happy" about the news.

It comes after the Gallagher brothers appeared to put their differences aside as Liam ended the feud that tragically tore Oasis apart.

Liam wrote to Noel saying "I love you and this is our year" in an attempt to close the door on their well-documented fractious relationship.

The pair traded verbal blows on numerous occasions until the band finally split in 2009, with more insults being slung at one another in the months and years that followed.

Oasis fans have been desperate for the siblings to reunite the band and get back on stage.

Despite Noel turning down £100m for an Oasis reunion in the past, Liam gave it one final go on Twitter: "HNY Noel love you long time 2021 is our year c’mon you know LG x".

Following the tweets, Ladbrokes have given an Oasis reunion in 2021 odds of 10/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Little By Little the odds of Oasis getting back together are shortening so fans may well get their wish this year."
