EASTENDERS star Lorraine Stanley got into the festive spirit with a "magical" trip to Lapland.

Leaving the drama of Albert Square behind her, the actress and her family enjoyed the full Christmas experience in Finland.

Lorraine – who plays Karen Taylor on the BBC soap – was seen having a jolly time with partner Mark Perez and daughter Nancy, seven.

Wearing a thick winter jacket and matching trousers, she shared photos of her on a sleigh ride and pictures of her playing in the snow.

Lorraine, 46, posted a series of snaps of the snowy mountains and pine trees, along with a sneak peek inside her cosy cabin.

The TV star wrote: "Lapland you’ve been wonderful, such a magical place. #lapland #christmas #Finland #reindeer #husky"
