I'm A Celebrity 2020 LIVE – Giovanna Fletcher sent family SECRET SIGNAL during launch risking 'trouble' with show bosses

I'M A Celeb star Giovanna Fletcher sent her family a secret signal during last night's launch show, it has been revealed.

Now her husband, McFly's Tom Fletcher, is concerned the move could land her in "trouble" with show bosses.

Appearing on This Morning earlier today, Tom revealed that Giovanna held her thumb to her nose and wiggled her fingers to send a secret hello to their kids Buzz, six, Buddy, four, and Max, two, while they watched at home.

But his McFly bandmate Dougie Poynter, who won the show in 2011, chimed in to say "Oh you get in trouble for that", leaving Tom looking horrified and asking "Oh, no. do you?

The 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here continues tonight at 9pm on ITV – and you can follow all the action here, live on this page.

Jordan keeps shouting 'Turf Moor' to remind him of his happy place as he tries to forget about the snakes crawling all over his body.

Turf Moor is the home pitch of his beloved Burnley FC.

Jordan's been a season ticket holder of Burnley since 2018.

FUN FACT: Turf Moor was the first senior football ground to be visited by a member of the Royal Family.

Prince Albert Victor watched a match between Burnley and Bolton Wanderers in 1886.

The BBC Radio presenter is literally shaking from fear, but I can't help but think… how does he still look so handsome in the middle of such an intense challenge?

    Case in point:

  • [email protected]

How do you find your *bleeping* happy place when you're in a small vault surrounded by snakes??

Jordan's trying to stop himself from panicking by thinking of his 'happy place' and kudos to him.

But I don't think I could manage it.

What would your happy place be?

Mine would be in Harry Styles' warm embrace….

You got this you beautiful babe.

Jordan who is afraid of EVERYTHING is absolutely bricking it before going in to the Viper Vault.

Not only is he scared of snakes, he is also claustrophobic – which does not bode well considering the challenge ahead.

As my housemate just pointed out: “why is he doing a show like this, if he's so scared of everything?”

Good point, why are you there?

(Still want him to do well, he's so adorable!)

We've already seen Victoria Derbyshire have 'boob envy' over Bev Callard's “magnificent breasts”.

And Bev justtold us about her 40 year career.

I'm an Aussie, who is pretty new to UK culture and (sorry) had not heard of Bev before I'm A Celeb.

So it got me thinking… what did Beverly Callard look like as a young star on Corrie?

I can confirm, she was a smoking hot babe. See below:

The film Jordan North watched instead of seeing Mo get to Olympic glory was No Vacancy.

It's so bad it doesn't even have a rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

And it stars nobody you've heard of.

  • [email protected]

The chat in the castle comes to a complete halt every time Mo starts speaking.

He's recounting his greatest sporting achievements, overcoming challenges and winning Olympic medals.

Makes me feel a bit rubbish for being proud of myself for just making soup today.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter is turning into a huge favourite with fans gushing over him (and of course, he's picked up a few female fans along the way).

Jordan, 30, was born in York but grew up in Burnley, Lancashire.

In September 2020, he was announced as the new regular 11am weekend host on BBC Radio 1.

He is also the main cover presenter for Scott Mills and Nick Grimshaw with a lot of people referring to him as Radio 1's “supply teacher”.

Jordan also co-presents the agony-aunt podcast Help I Sexted My Boss and won Best Entertainment Podcast at the British Podcast Awards this year.

He is now perhaps most well known for vomiting on top of a cliff just five minutes after arriving to I'm A Celeb.

    We still love him though.

This years celebs have to shower in pairs so that one can pump the water as the other bathes.

Now fans, are asking who would be their ideal 'shower pumper'.

For me, it would be Joe Wicks.

  • [email protected]

Jordan's really on the money isn't he?

He can't help but check out Vernon Kay's fit body as he helps him shower.

“I've peaked, I've showered Vernon Kay,” Jordan said.

The same could be said of his shower buddy, as Jordan showed off his amazingly toned body.

    Not our Olympic hero Mo!!

He fell out of his hammock and I'm terrified he's hurt himself.

I know he's not competing anymore, but he's a national treasure and I want him wrapped up and safe forever.

    Phew…. Mo's just confirmed he's “fine”.

I’m A Celebrity is battling a fresh crisis — over a fear of ghosts.

Crew members are refusing to work at night in certain areas of Gwrych Castle amid concerns over “shadowy figures” and “horrifying noises”.

Frightened production staff even claim to have seen faces at windows in ruined parts of the historic structure at Abergele in North Wales.

The panic threatens to disrupt filming as crew insist on moving around in groups once the light fades, which is when much of the action takes place.

An insider said: “People thought they saw a figure at one of the windows a couple of nights ago — and that spot has been pretty much off limits ever since.”

Another source claimed: “The place is utterly terrifying at night.”

Giovanna Fletcher's baby bro and Towie star, Mario Falcone, is his sister's biggest cheerleader.

Mario, 32, says Giovanna is relatable and that will make people fall in love with her.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Mario says: “I can see her winning. People love Giovanna because of how relatable she is as a mum, and she’s very real.

“There is so much to Giovanna that people haven’t seen that will make people love her even more. I think she’s got a very good chance of getting to the end.

“She is a very strong woman, there is not much that will faze her.”

But Mario believes Giovanna's biggest challenge will be spending time away from her three young sons Buzz, six, Buddy, four, and Max, two.

He says: “That will be the hardest part for her. She loves her boys more than anything in the world.

“That will really make her struggle, but she will find warmth in knowing that they will be watching and they are at an age where they understand.”

It seems a 9pm start time for I'm A Celeb is passed a lot of people's bedtimes this year.

There's a lot of people on Twitter calling for the reality series to start earlier otherwise they'll struggle to “keep my eyes open”.

One Twitter user said: “One night I'll stay awake for imaceleb, literally falling asleep again.”

Another said:petition for imaceleb to be broadcast earlier9pm is too late for a daily show. What does everyone else think?”

Ant and Dec have traded in Australia's sunny Gold Coast for the Welsh wilderness for this series of I'm a Celeb.

But it's not looking too bad for the presenting duo who are thought to be staying in a luxury country house while the celebs rough it in Gwrych Castle.

Hosts Ant and Dec were rumoured to be staying at Bodysgallen Hall near Llandudno, which is a luxury country house hotel set on Pydew Mountain.

It boasts a three AA Rosette restaurant and a luxurious spa.

As well as the hotel, the grounds have 16 cottage suites which have “added privacy” and their own separate garden – so the presenter duo may be making the most of these areas.

The I'm A Celeb crew are staying at the Golden Sands Holiday Park in Rhyl, North Wales which usually offers Sun readers holidays for £9.50

We've seen Jordan chunder because of his fear of heights, but tonight viewers chose him to go compete in the Bushtucker Trial.

He will go into the Viper Vault alongside Shane Richie, but he is way more scared of this challenge than he was abseiling down a cliff.

Jordan admitted that snakes are “actually my biggest fear”.

The radio DJ has the option of yelling 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' if he finds the trial too overwhelming.

What do you think, will his fears overcome him or will Jordan once again triumph over his phobias?

Olympic hero Sir Mo Farah will get special halal meals while in the I’m A Celebrity castle.

But the fan favourite will be taking part in eating trials — which usually involve eating creepy-crawlies — as Muslim rules do not ban it.

Sir Mo, 37, will not have the same grub as delivered to other campmates, just like champ boxer Amir Khan back in 2017.

A source said: “Mo told producers a long time ago about his food preferences, so they were prepared.

“He can’t eat certain food unless it’s prepared in the correct way according to his religion.”

But Mo does not seemed too fussed about the Spartan diet the celebs will be on while in the castle.

He told The Sun: “To be honest, I’m not a big eater.”

It might come as no surprise that I'm A Celeb;s premiere last night smashed viewing records.

As the coronavirus pandemic drags on and the nation is stuck in a second lockdowns, Brits are turning to their tellies for comfort.

Last night's episode brought in a peak of 12 million viewers with more than half the available TV audience tuning in to see Ant & Dec present the reality series from Wales for the first time ever.

In fact, last night's episode was the most watched bit of TV all year.

Only the Prime Minister and Queen's addresses to the nation beat I'm A Celeb.

The excitement at I'm A Celebrity's return shows no signs of slowing down after last night's premiere episode.

Fans are rushing to Twitter in anticipation of tonight's second episode which will see Jordan and Shane enter the Viper Vault in a truly terrifying challenge.

But some fans might be taking it too far, with one saying they almost broke the door in their house out excitement.

The creepy historic building is being used instead of the Aussie jungle due to filming restrictions because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The castle is owned by Mark Baker, founder of the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust.

His Trust bought the derelict building in 2018 for £1million, according to the Radio Times.

He hopes to fully restore it and open the castle up to the public.

Mr Baker said phase one of the rebuild could cost £10million and the fee from ITV – which is reportedly £300,000 – will pay for just one part of the roof.

Ant and Dec, along with everyone watching I'm A Celeb last night got a big kick out of the way paralympian Hollie Arnold, 26, introduced herself to the other celebrities.

    “Hollie Arnold, MBE,” she said.

    “Ooh,” replied Victoria Derbyshire.

But why exactly was Hollie awarded the MBE?

Hollie competes in F46 javelin at the paralympics after having been born without her right forearm.

She has competed in three Olympic games, with her first in Beijing at ONLY 14 years of age.

Hollie competed in London in 2012 and won her first gold at the Rio games in 2016.

She's basically won every championship imaginable and also won every World Championship since 2013.

The Queen awarded Hollie the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in 2017.

There's a new favourite celeb that punters think will be named King or Queen of the Jungle after their odds were slashed dramatically during the season premiere.

Best selling author and podcast host Giovanna Fletcher had been the clear favourite before the celebs went into the castle, with bookies also anticipating Jordan North would have a big female fan base.

But that's all flipped after last night's debut, with former EastEnders actor coming around the outside as a firm favourite.

BBC Radio DJ Jordan is still high up on the list after endearing himself to fans by vomiting at the thought of having to abseil down a cliff.

Here are the latest odds from Ladbrokes:

Who will win I'm A Celebrity 2020 odds

    • Shane Richie – Soap star and comedian – 5/2
    • Jordan North – Radio 1 DJ – 4/1
    • Mo Farah – Olympic gold medallist – 5/1
    • Vernon Kay – TV and radio star – 5/1
    • Giovanna Fletcher – Best-selling author – 8/1
    • Jessica Plummer – Former EastEnders star – 8/1
    • AJ Pritchard – Former Strictly Come Dancing pro – 16/1
    • Beverley Callard – soap star known for Corrie – 25/1
    • Hollie Arnold – Record-breaking British parasport javelin athlete – 25/1
    • Victoria Derbyshire – BBC broadcaster – 25/1

Lots of changes have been made to this year's I'm A Celebrity to make sure it fits in with its temporaryWelsh home at Gwrych Castle.

One of the key differences is that fans will no longer get to see the surly Kiosk Keith who worked at the Outback Shack when I'm A Celeb was based in the Australian jungle.

There will still be a grumpy kiosk owner on hand this year, but this time it's Kiosk Cledwyn.

He owns Ye Olde Shoppe at Gwrych Castle in Wales and will greet the celebs during the Castle Coin Challenges which replaces the Dingo Dollar Challenge.

But while fans are excited to see Kiosk Cledwyn in action they have called on him to be replaced by the iconic Nessa from Gavin & Stacey.

“Petition to get Nessa to replace Kiosk Keith and for to go 'Oh, what’s occurring?' when the celebs come over,” wrote one Twitter user.

Another added: “If Nessa Shanessa Jenkins doesn’t replace kiosk Keith I’ll be well fuming.”

Viewers were in hysterics last night as Victoria Derbyshire swooned over Beverley Callard's “magnificent breasts”.

It took less than 24 hours for this year's campmates to become over-familiar with each other as they were seen bonding in tonight's launch show.

In an abrupt introduction to castle life, the 10 stars took on The Gates To Hell – with each celeb in a cage as they passed stars to one another.

After the trial, Beverley screamed and jumped as she found a bug in her pocket, saying that it was her “worst nightmare”.

The jumpy actress was so unnerved by the task that Victoria ended up offering to check her boobs for bugs when Beverley said that she could feel something crawling in her bra.

And the 52-year-old journalist had no complaints as she heaped praise on 63-year-old Bev's body.

She gushed:”Magnificent breasts, what a cleavage!”

But Beverley remained modest as she insisted: “Oh my God, they're pushed up beyond belief.”
