This Morning's Matthew Wright asked if it was better for I'm A Celeb to "pull the plug" on this year's series altogether after the chaos caused by Storm Arwen.

The ITV presenter was left worried about the popular series after storm destroyed parts of the show's Gwrych Castle set over the weekend.

The show has even had to be axed for the last three days, with this year's being moved off of the set into a hotel for their safety.

Geordie hosts Ant and Dec have been keeping fans in the loop with regular videos on social media, and Dec recently told fans that the set was "badly damaged".

Matthew showed a series of snaps from the set as he updated fans on Monday's show (November 29).

Matthew said:" I don't know what I want. Whether it would be better to pull the plug and just say 'Hey, that's just showbiz, folks.'"

Host Phillip Schofield then cut him off and disagreed, saying: "that's not the nature of telly. The show must go on.

"You do the best you possibly can."

Matthew agreed: "[You can] do the best you can, but I think the rhythm [of the show] is gone."

The presenter explained that the stars have had to be moved off of the set, which means they haven't had to face the same challenges as past contestants.

He mentioned the stars being able to have hot showers and eat properly, a far cry from what last year's line-up had to face at this point.

He also remarked that the show starts to get juicy after a week as the campmates begin to get hungry, suggesting that viewers won't get the same drama now due to all of the disruption.
