I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will return to the Australian jungle for the first time since 2019, before the pandemic-related travel restrictions impacted the ITV staple. With fans itching to see what the return to the set from Down Under will look like, Express.co.uk is sharing a sneak peek from the camp and the first challenge along with some ominous-looking task settings.

A series of photos show some interesting additions to the jungle setting.

One is of a giant body of water with a huge structure covering it, which could be where celebs will face terrifying heights and challenging water tasks.

Previously in the Australia-based edition of the show, the contestants have partaken in underwater challenges alongside crocodiles, insects and other jungle critters where they often have to hold their breath while fetching stars for meals.

Others have included hunting for stars at dizzying heights.

Celebrities are often tasked with clambering amongst treetops while hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly advise them on where to go.

More photos show wooden huts which will presumably be used for different challenges. This year one is labelled as the Post Office, while another is the Loon Saloon.

It’s located in the large Wild West-style area, which is complete with a bizarre-looking merry-go-round contraption.

Fans of the show might recall contestants trudging through fish guts in various rooms or coming face-to-face with ostriches and other giant animals within the cabins.

The famous bridge in which celebrities catch their first glimpse of jungle life can also be seen in the images.

The contestants famously walk across the bridge for the iconic photo as they leave camp after being voted out.

Others include the famous first challenge which sees half of the team walking a plank atop a staggering 32-storey building.

The structure seems ready to go, with platforms and ladders already added to the rooftop of the skyscraper.

Much of the line-up for this year has already been confirmed, with the show’s launch just over a week away.

Some of the expected faces include radio DJ Chris Moyles, reality star Olivia Attwood, soap star Sue Cleaver and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner.

More of the line-up is expected to be announced in the coming days.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV on November 6 at 9pm.
