Emmerdale star shares message to joyful Dominic Brunt as he visits her baby

Emmerdale’s Dominic Brunt recently paid a visit to his co-star Michelle Hardwick and her family and honestly, our hearts are full.

Michelle’s Emmerdale character, Vanessa Woodfield, departed the village back in November for a new job in Canada.

The exit was to coincide with the actress’ maternity leave, following the news she’s given birth to a baby girl with her producer wife, Kate Brooks.

Enjoying life at home with her new baby, Michelle was visited by Dominic this week, who plays Paddy Kirk in the ITV soap.

Sharing a variety of adorable pictures on her Instagram of Dominic holding her daughter and one with her son, Teddy, Michelle wrote alongside: ‘Always guaranteed fun and laughter when this fabulous man is around! @DominicBrunt you were a huge hit with the kids’.

Michelle received many wonderful comments on her post, with her co-star Fiona Wade writing: ‘Aww this is gorgeous’, and Amy Robbins (who recently arrived in Coronation Street as Daisy’s mum, Christina), who said: ‘That’s MY baby!! Give her back! ❤️❤️❤️❤️’.

It’s a difficult time for Paddy Kirk in Emmerdale right now.

Struggling with his mental health following Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter) affair reveal, Paddy is set to find comfort in the arms of former lover Mandy (Lisa Riley) after spending the evening together.

‘They just start talking about day trips they had in Blackpool’, Lisa Riley said, describing the scenes ahead.

‘It’s full nostalgia. And then their song comes on, which is Tina Turner’s What’s Love Got To Do With It, and Mandy’s fighting and fighting. They’re locking eyes and Mandy is going, “No.” Mandy doesn’t want to be a doormat again.

‘She’s always been a doormat when it comes to relationships and she refuses, because she knows it’s not right and I think in the back of her head she can also hear the rest of the family going, “Mandy, don’t do it.” But when Tina Turner comes on they think it’s a sign, someone’s telling them.’
