Emmerdale star reveals if Kim turns Will in to the police over murder

Emmerdale’s Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is left with little choice but to confess the truth about the murder of DI Malone (Mark Womack) to Kim Tate (Claire King).

The Home Farm groundsman makes the decision to come clean after a confrontation with Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) and Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony) in regards to the location of the base camp for the survivalist challenge.

Kim witnesses the heated exchange, and demands to know the reason for Will’s behaviour. Will, at first, makes excuses, hoping to throw her off the scent.

‘He’s making any excuse!,’ said actor Dean Andrews, teasing the scenes to come.

‘[Excuses] About pheasants, and the running of the place: “We don’t want to disturb the birds we could just do this somewhere else, it’ll be fine!”. All the usual when someone is trying to cover their back!’

Kim, however, knows full well there’s more to Will’s behaviour than meets the eye, and thus she presses him further.

Dean said: ‘She gets an inkling. “Why is he so perturbed about birds? He’s never been worried about them before”. There is something running through her mind about the way he’s been behaving.’

Unable to see another way out of his predicament, Will at last comes clean, telling Kim all about DI Malone’s murder – and the location of the buried body!

‘I think the situation gets to such a place that he needs to come clean to her, as she can reverse that decision once she’s in receipt of the info,’ exclaimed Dean. ‘He feels like they’re a good partnership and she’ll understand. So he confesses to get out of it, really!’

Kim is speechless, but the question is: just what will she do with this information? Will she turn him in to the police?

Or will she assist him and do as he asks?

‘I feel like he does trust her, and he hopes she understands,’ added Dean. ‘But he’s also putting himself in a position that he doesn’t really want to be in.’
