EastEnders’ Jean Slater in horror crash as she tries to get herself jailed

EastEnders favourite Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) finds herself in deep trouble in upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap.

The loveable character has had a lot on her plate recently with her daughter Stacey's (Lacey Turner) pending court hearing looming, granddaughter Lily's recent accident and her own cancer scare.

However, things take a turn for the worst next week when she ends up in a horror car crash.

Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is feeling daunted about her new business venture and when Jean and Mo Harris (Laila Morse) arrive at the gym to clean, Jean receiving some devasting news.

Boss Sharon later chastises Jean and Big Mo’s lacklustre work before Jean takes her frustrations out on a delivery van.

As the driver gets out, Jean climbs in the vehicle as her behaviour spirals out of control.

Jean encourages the people watching to call the police before crashing the van to Mo’s horror.

She does her best to talk Jean round and Sharon tells the police to back off as she tries to help Jean herself.

As Kheerat Panesar waits for Sharon at The Vic for a pre-arranged drink, she talks to Jean about family.

When Sharon mentions her new found brother, Zack, Jean is left with an idea.

Later at The Vic, Sharon was too late for her sort-of date with Kheerat and Jean reminds her to cherish her family before admitting that she might have overstepped the mark.

After hearing a car pull up, Sharon and Jean step outside to see Zack in Albert Square.

Despite Sharon telling him to leave, Zack buys her breakfast but it doesn't go to plan when Kheerat interrupts.

As Sharon tries to make amends with Kheerat, Zack swipes her keys for the flat.

Sharon later finds Zack looking through her bedroom and they discover that Gavin has left them both something in his will.

They bond as they swap stories and Sharon asks Zack to stay but she's gutted when he leaves anyway.

Is this the last time viewers will see Zack?
