Joe Black has admitted he would wear his infamous H&M dress again "in a heartbeat" after being eliminated from RuPaul's Drag Race UK for a second time in an exclusive interview with OK! online.

The 31 year old returned to the hit BBC Three show during Thursday's episode in a shocking twist, replacing Veronica Green in the competition after she was forced to pull out after contracting coronavirus.

However, Joe's return to the werk room was short lived, and he ended up being eliminated once again after just one week.

His second elimination was partly due to him wearing a H&M dress during the week's challenge, which saw the queens form two girl groups and compete in the very first Ru-Ru-Vision Song Contest.

Joe's group Bananadrama failed to impress judges RuPaul, 60, Michelle Visage, 52, Graham Norton, 57, and MNEK, 26, leaving them all vulnerable.

Meanwhile, rivals The United Kingdolls are looking at chart success, with their version of the song UK, Hun? reaching number one on iTunes.

During the critiques, RuPaul left the competitors and viewers in shock as she launched into a rant about queens wearing high street retailers in the competition.

She addressed Joe and his fellow band members Tia Kofi, Sister Sister and Ellie Diamond: "That outfit off the rack was a huge disappointment to me.

"That's what every day people do and you should know that because you are a star… and if it is from H&M, you'd better glitter the f**k out of it and make it something special.

"We're looking for Great Britain's next superstar, don't waste my time. I don't want to see any f**king H&M!"

She continued: "I came all the way across the pond. I want more, I want more. Is that asking for too much? I don't think so.

"This is the biggest stage for drag in the world, this is the Eurovision of drag. So, alright, I think we've heard enough."

Speaking about the explosive moment to OK! online and other publications, Joe exclusively explained: "I would wear that again in a heartbeat.

"Any dress or any outfit that makes someone that angry, how could I not do that again?

"I, honestly, that reaction, I had no idea that a high street retailer could make anyone that angry, and I would do it again in a heartbeat."
