Dancing on Ice stars Kevin Kilbane and Brianne Delcourt expecting their first baby together after secret wedding

DANCING on Ice stars Kevin Kilbane and Brianne Delcourt are expecting their first child together after a whirlwind romance.

The couple got engaged just four months after meeting on the ITV show in October.

Since then the couple have married in secret – and Brianne is five months pregnant.

Former footballer Kevin, 43, told OK! Magazine: “I actually couldn’t be happier to be married and to have a baby on the way.”

Brianne, 39 added: “We keep saying to each other, ‘Imagine if we knew this last year.’ I wouldn’t have believed it!"

It was revealed last week the couple got hitched after planning their wedding in two weeks.

Their baby is now due in February 2021 – and they couldn't be more excited.

Kevin added: "Everything may seem fast in other people’s eyes and we can’t believe it ourselves but we do everything together so this was naturally the next step.

“It was initially surprising because it came at a crazy time when there was already a lot going on but we were planning it – we just didn’t realise it would happen so quick."

Professional ice skater Brianne discovered her surprise pregnancy after having four beers as they moved home earlier this year.

The dancer said she had been "feeling weird" and couldn't stop crying, so took a test without Kevin knowing it.

When it came back positive, she wrote an emotional letter telling her other half and put it under his pillow for him to find.

Then on September 9, Brianne and Kevin tied the knot – despite coronavirus disrupting their wedding plans.

After being unable to go ahead with the ceremony in Ireland, the loved up pair shared photos of Brianne in a wedding dress and the ex-footballer in a bow-tie at the Bonnie View Inn, a lakeside hotel in Brianne's home country Canada, where they have been living since lockdown.

Kevin is already a dad to two girls, Elsie and Isla. His eldest daughter, Elsie, who he shares with ex-wife Laura, has Down's Syndrome.
