Coronation Street: Garry confronts Ray after incident with Faye
Faye (played by Ellie Leach) has been keeping to herself in recent weeks on Coronation Street and now it has been explained why as she left Adam (Scott Robertson) for dead during the ITV soap’s 60th-anniversary episodes earlier this month. A number of residents were in the frame to have attacked the Weatherfield heartthrob, most notably his uncle Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoigne). However, in a case of mistaken identity, it was the bistro barmaid who dealt the almost fatal blow, but will she now be jailed for her crime?
In the lead up to the anniversary episodes, villain Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) had been manipulating the young woman and coerced her to have sex with him.
This led to the break down of her relationship with Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) and her boss trying to rape her.
Gary Windass (Mikey North) managed to stop the ruthless businessman before he could go any further but it seems the youngster was gunning for revenge.
With the cobbles in the midst of a blackout, Tim Metcalfe’s (Joe Duttine) daughter stormed over to the bistro to have it out with her boss.
Unfortunately, as it was pitch black, she struck Adam over the head instead and this led to him ending up in a coma.

With viewers now in the know over the identity of Adam’s attacker, the residents of Weatherfield will remain obvious to who could have committed the crime.
The police investigation will also continue as the authorities try to get their hands on her person who attempted to murder the solicitor.
Faye will try desperately to keep her dark secret on the down-low, but the gravity of the situation could lead her to spill all.
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other publications, actress Ellie, 19 said: “I think she’s definitely at breaking point as she’s got such a huge weight on her shoulders.”
I hope it’s not forever
“She doesn’t know what to do and she’s struggling because she wants to tell people but then if she does tell, she’s worried she won’t be believed,” she continued.
On whether this means her character will end up in jail, Ellie added: “I think if she did go to the police and felt that was the right thing to do for her, it is a serious crime and you do time for that.
“If she does end up going to prison, I hope it’s not forever,” the soap star declared, so could this be a hint fans will be bidding farewell to Faye?
The youngster has been at the centre of several hard-hitting storylines since she arrived on the cobbles back in 2011.

Faye was the troubled adopted daughter of Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) and her husband Eddie Windass (Steve Huison).
Once she settled into the family, the youngster got in touch with her birth father Tim and this led to his introduction to the cobbles.
In 2014, the character featured in an issue-based storyline as she became pregnant at the age of 12 and the soap explored the dilemma the school-girl faced over whether she could bring up her baby.
The plot reached a head when the mother-of-one decided she would give up her child for adoption as she felt an older set of parents could give her daughter the life she deserved.
In recent years, her love life has become more prominent as she began a relationship with Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
The arrival of his mother Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) caused some trouble for the pair as eventually they split up, but have remained good friends ever since.
Having been through her fair share of hardship over the years, will Faye’s final scenes on the soap see her sentenced to a long spell behind bars?
Or will she be able to keep her dark secret harboured and allow one of her neighbours to take the fall for her?
Coronation Street continues Friday at 8pm on ITV.
