Amy Duggar slams cousin Josh's child porn charges as 'disgusting & evil' & REGRETS appearing on family reality show

AMY Duggar slammed her cousin Josh as “disgusting” after he was arrested last month on child porn charges.

The 34-year-old admitted it’s all been “sickening” and hopes that “justice is served” in the case.

During an interview with TODAY, Amy opened up about the charges against her cousin and how she feels about him and the rest of her Duggar family.

The mother-of-one, who shares one-year-old Daxton with her husband Dillon King, said she’s “worried” about Josh’s six, almost seven as his wife Anna is pregnant, kids.

Amy added: “My heart goes out to all those innocent, sweet victims… It breaks my heart.

“I will just say that whatever you do in the darkness comes out in the light. If you’re going to look at such disgusting and sickening images, justice has to be served.”

The 19 Kids and Counting alum regrets ever having been part of the family’s TLC show after both Josh’s arrest and after learning in 2015 of allegations he molested four of his sisters, as well as a babysitter.

Looking back, she said: ”I wish I would have known about what was happening. I did not know anything about the whole Josh situation the first time.

“We were told that he went to camp… I definitely didn’t know."

Now a mother of an almost-two-year-old, Amy shared that it’s hard to “look at [her] little guy” while thinking about Josh’s child porn charges.

The TV personality explained: “My heart and my brain cannot comprehend that. It blows my mind.

“It’s heartbreaking and disgusting and evil. It’s so evil. I want nothing to do with it."

After his April 29 arrest, the father-of-six, 33, was granted bail after "possessing 65 images of child porn."

Despite Josh's release, the TLC star has restricted travel and cannot leave Benton, Washington, and Madison counties in Arkansas without permission from the court.

His wife Anna is currently six months pregnant with their seventh child, and he has been required to live away from the family as he is not allowed to be around minor children.

Counting On's Jill Duggar and her husband Derick told The Sun they find Josh's arrest "very sad" and "hope justice is done."

During her time on the reality show, Amy was labeled as a rebel, which she said messed with her mental health, which is one of the reasons why she's distanced herself from some of her family members.

"It’s OK to protect yourself from negativity and it’s OK to step back," the star shared. "I think that’s where I’m at."

She now mainly keeps a close friendship with her cousin Jill, who she said is "really such a sweet person."

Amy added: "She’s growing into her own. I’ve always called her 'my hippie chick,' ever since she was 7 or 8 years old … and to see her live her life that’s freeing and still godly, but not being restrained, is a really, really beautiful thing to see.

"She has my full support."
