Amanda Holden cringed as she opened up about her humiliating blunder at Piers Morgan's wedding.

Chatting to Paul O'Grady for his show Saturday Night Line Up, Amanda opened up about how she didn't recognise well-known magician Dynamo and offered him a spot on Britain's Got Talent.

"Well I mean you know I love a drink," the Britain's Got Talent judge and co-host of Heart Breakfast said to Paul.

"But, one of the stupidest things I've ever done was when Piers Morgan got married — yes, somebody married Piers Morgan. Celia — she's really fit as well, he's really punching," she joked.

"Anyway, he had this do and he had it all in his back garden and everything and it was absolutely beautiful. And for entertainment just to break the ice there was this guy and he was doing all these magic tricks and blah, blah, blah," Amanda explained.

During the chat – which will air on Saturday 18 September —she said: "I was like, 'Oh my God! You are absolutely brilliant. Do you know what, I'm on Britain's Got Talent.

"'I can get you in with the producers. I really do think you've got potential. Would you consider auditioning for Britain's Got Talent?'

"And then Chris, my husband, went, 'Amanda, it's Dynamo.'"

Unsurprisingly, the whole audience burst into fits of laughter joined by Paul and his other guests, David Haye, Johnny Vegas and Aston Merrygold.

The story was sparked by Paul's question of who out of his lineup was most likely to embarrass themselves at a party.

Having heard Amanda's story, we can safely say we think she's probably the holder of that title, but Johnny also revealed an embarrassing memory of his own

"I did an awards show once, it was a music industry awards, voted for by the music industry and I was presenting it. And in the middle of giving out an award, I vomited on the podium."
