Laura Hamilton has come under fire from viewers who reckon she showed some less than impressive homes on A Place In The Sun.

The latest instalment of the Channel 4 favourite saw a couple trying to find somewhere to retire in Greece.

TV beauty Laura did her best to rustle up some little gems for the pair, who had £125,000 to splash on the perfect pad.

But some viewers did not like what was on offer, with one calling one of the properties a "s*******" and another calling one a "godforsaken hole".

As one place was shown off, a fan tweeted: "That finish is NOT a high standard. Basic Argos."

Another sniped: "Looks like a s*******."

One viewer called one of the houses a "godforsaken hole" and teased: "Wonder if Laura will manage to find somewhere worse. Place your bets now."

"I don't think a single person would want more information about the s******** Laura's shown them today," said somebody else.

Another posted: "I don’t think I’ve ever watched an ep of this that’s not from Spain or France… the houses in this Greek episode are bloody awful…"

One viewer commented on the homes featured: "First one was dire and had structural issues, second one had no bedrooms and now this once doesn't have a kitchen.

"Laura's really pulling them out of the bag today.

"Be lucky if the next one has a roof."

However, some people did acknowledge that Laura had a tough brief as the average house price in the area she was hunting was much higher than the sum she was working with.

And luckily, the couple did end up finding a home.
