Horse racing tips: Badger Beers trends – we help you find the winner of the Wincanton race live on ITV this Saturday

Present Man can get the Badger Beers in for the third year running. This isn’t a race for golden oldies with nine the oldest you want to go.

That’s bad news for The Young Master and Whisper.

Complete outsiders have struggled too so we can overlook the chances of Cobra De Mai and Wicked Willy who are out with the washing.

Your fancy needs to have won a chase over three miles or more which spells the end for White Moon.

Most Badger Beers winners have already won or placed at Wincanton. That crosses out Rock The Kasbah, Royal Vacation, Give Me A Copper and Just A Sting.

Trends tip for the Badger Beers

PRESENT MAN – (Bet now)

Soupy Soups has won just twice over fences and that’s a little light for this race. Looking at the official ratings, no horse higher than 144 has come out on top in the past decade.

That leaves a shortlist of Present Man, Walk In The Mill, Beau Du Brizais and Sumkindofking.

One of those horses fits the race profile and has a big personal trend too having won this for the past two years — PRESENT MAN.

Bryony Frost has been on board for both victories and this is his big target for the whole season.

Sun Racing ambassador Megan Nicholls is back and looks ahead to a cracking day of racing at Chepstow and Newmarket

The jumps is back!

This obviously means fewer rides for me, but I can’t wait to see Dad’s powerhouses in action.

It’s Chepstow this afternoon and although the ground is softer than Glastonbury, we’ve got a few nice prospects in action.

Sir Psycho makes his debut in the opening juvenile hurdle and I expect him to go nicely.

He’s a lovely horse and has taken to jumping very well at home – it’s almost as if he’d seen obstacles before.

The ground is the only question mark as we wouldn’t chance him if it really cut up. We think a lot of him.

Diamond Guy will likely come on for his run in the handicap hurdle at 2.45.

He finds his work at home very easy but hasn’t been seen on track for a long time and could just need it.

The ground is a slight unknown but hopefully it will be ok and he has a big future when he goes over fences.
