Adley Rutschman is really hoping to score a first impression rose from “Bachelor” alum Madison Prewett.
The 22-year-old Orioles prospect recently reacted to a sultry shot of Prewett, 24, on Instagram, as she modeled a red Sherri Hill dress and black heels.
“Roses are red, violets are blue, whoever finishes this best, dinner on me for two,” Prewett captioned the snap.
Rutschman, the first overall pick in last year’s MLB draft, then replied: “Roses are red, violets are blue…. I’ll change your name to Rutschman from Prew.”
Prewett, an Alabama native and Auburn superfan, ultimately followed up.
“Woah this is moving really fast….. first I need to know how do u say that last name,” she responded, resulting in a proposal of sorts from Rutschman.
“Guess we will have something to talk about over dinner then,” the catcher said, adding a winky face emoji.
A Bachelor Nation fan-favorite, Prewett competed on Peter Weber’s season of the reality show earlier this year, eliminating herself during the final stages of the competition. Though Weber — a pilot — got engaged to fellow finalist Hannah Ann Sluss, the couple broke up amid his lingering feelings for Prewett.
In March, Prewett and Weber reunited in front of a studio audience on the live “After the Final Rose” special, where they were met with pushback from Weber’s mom, Barb.
“He’s going to have to fail to succeed,” Barb said at the time.
Shortly after Prewett’s reunion with Weber, the pair announced they would not pursue a relationship. He is currently dating fellow “Bachelor” contestant Kelley Flanagan.
