TOWIE is one of the biggest reality TV shows in the UK, following the lives of the glamorous stars of Essex.

And while the hit ITVBe show has been going for years, the cast members change regularly, with former stars dropping off the radar.

Whether they left by choice or not, stars from Kirk Norcross to Ricky Rayment are making a point of returning to other jobs.

From a sports agent to a micro-blader, these are the TOWIE stars who returned to normal life after The Only Way Is Essex.

Kirk Norcross

Kirk Norcross found fame during the earlier stages of The Only Way Is Essex, and was seen as Essex royalty because his dad owned club and bar SugarHut. Kirk enjoyed a romance with Amy Childs, and a long term relationship with Lauren Pope while on the reality show, but left for good in 2013.

Following his stint on TOWIE, Kirk starred on Celebrity Big Brother followed by Ex On The Beach.

However, it now appears the 29 year old has started a new career after the star posted a picture on his Twitter page dressed in a high vis jacket, accompanied by fellow workers.

Kirk captioned the image: “5 minute tea break then back to work! Hope everyone is enjoying the day so far.”

Kirk later revealed that he works for a jet-washing and drain-unblocking company and couldn't be happier.

Kirk, who is now a dad-of-two, said: “I realise working up a ladder clearing drains and jet-washing driveways isn’t as glamorous as being on the telly. But I wouldn’t swap things for the world. I am so glad. I am away from that life now. When I was on Towie I was known everywhere I went.

"I used to buy Ferarris, expensive watches and designer jeans — now I’m happy with a £20 pair from Topman."

Charlie Sims

Charlie Sims stepped into the TOWIE world with girlfriend at the time Ferne McCann in 2013, joining his sister Chloe Sims and cousin Joey Essex.

Charlie’s time on the show was focused on his on-off relationship with new mum Ferne, however, he decided to say goodbye to the programme in 2015.

Nowadays, Charlie is working as a sports agent and revealed that he is the founder and director of a group called Huge Project.

He also previously revealed via social media that he is an agent with his bio reading: “Professional Boxing Agent and founder of Prime Media Group, Prime Hospitality Group and Prime Auto Group.”

Grace Andrews

When she made her TOWIE debut in 2014, Grace Andrews was the love interest of both Lewis Bloor and Mario Falcone.

Lasting lass than a year on the show, Grace has moved on from her reality TV stint.

Grace is now a makeup artist, and an expert in micro-blading in Dubai and the UK.

Ricky Rayment

Ricky Rayment’s time on TOWIE was focused on his turbulent relationship with Jess Wright.

Ricky has stayed out of the spotlight for the past few years and was previously the owner of The Cloud Cafe, a vape company.

He now owns a fishing clothing company called Filthy Hooker.

Little Chris

Chris Drake – better known as Little Chris – was Mario’s best friend on TOWIE.

Now, Chris is a director at a talent agency called Off Limits Entertainment, who manages stars such as Love Island's Chris Hughes, Maura Higgins and Tommy Fury.
