As Primark once again opened its doors to shoppers after the latest lockdown, thousands of loyal customers have been visiting stores to bag the latest bargains. The retailer does not operate online, so after months of being unable to buy from the chain, shoppers have been enjoying the new products it has on offer.
One item in particular has caught the attention of shoppers for its low price and nostalgic sentiment.
Primark is selling two Looney Tunes pyjama sets, featuring both Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird in their corresponding colours of grey and yellow, respectively.
Each set, including shorts and a long sleeved t shirt, cost just £14 each.
Announcing the loungewear items on Instagram, Primark wrote: “Movie night with this iconic duo #LooneyTunes PJ Sets £14/€16/$18 each.”
The brand new items have proven to be a hit with shoppers, with the announcement receiving over 150,000 likes on Instagram.
Shoppers have been sharing their excitement for the new sets in the post’s comments.
One said: “I need this in my life.”
Another added: “Omg these are so freaking cute.”
A third said: “Getting these for my granddaughter, beautiful.”
One happy customer said: “Got these on Saturday and wish I’d got both sets, they’re so cozy and comfortable.”
The retailer also confirmed that the sets would be available in a range of countries, including England, Wales, Spain and the USA.
The sets are available for purchase in Primark stores now.
