Mum puts breast milk on face as anti-ageing treatment & says it’s ‘liquid gold’

A mum blogger says applying breast milk to her face has made her skin look amazing.

Si Si Shoffman, who gave birth to her son CJ last summer, has been sharing her parenting tips ever since.

The Skin & Aesthetics Trainer also regularly gives beauty tips to her 13,900 followers on Instagram.

But the 30-year-old’s latest tip may raise eyebrows for some.

She said: "WHY I USED MY OWN COLOSTRUM ON MY FACE?! ATTENTION ALL MAMAS AND MAMAS TO BE.

“It's called liquid gold for a reason. Get that liquid gold ON YOUR FACE! Heres why.”

Si Si, who is originally from Glasgow but now lives in London, claimed: "It's magically anti inflammatory.

“It stimulates the production of normal healthy skin bacteria, which will fight any problematic bacteria (almost like your own natural probiotic).

“It can topically help any hormonal imbalances when applied on the skin.

“It naturally contains growth factors which essentially make the skin regenerate meaning it's anti ageing.”

Si Si admits some may see her methods as “crazy”.

She added: "So you may think ‘SHE IS CRAZY’ for applying that to her face.

“My response is: you are for not.

"I cleansed here with one of my everyday favourites @obagiuk foaming cleanser.

“After applying my colostrum I've gone in with some @fuarainskincare moisturiser, which contains some potent magical ingredients extracted from Scottish water.”

According to the Daily Record, the response to her post was overwhelmingly positive.

One responder gushed: "This is so cool! Your skin is glowing!"

Another wrote: “You look fabulous. Beautiful skin.”

And a third joked: "Contemplating having a baby just for the perfect skin."
