The early May bank holiday weekend is almost upon us, giving workers across the first of two three-day weekends happening this month. As socialising is now back on the cards following months of lockdown, and the weather is certainly looking brighter, there’s plenty of reasons to stock up on more than just the essentials this bank holiday.
When will Morrisons be open on bank holiday Monday?
This bank holiday Monday, most Morrisons stores will be open as usual from 7am.
You can visit the Morrisons store finder to see precise times for when your local store will be open.
You can also check how busy your local Morrisons via their website, meaning you can avoid busier times if you don’t want to be caught in a crowd.
Morrisons’ opening hours for the early May bank holiday weekend:
• Saturday: 7am to 10pm
• Sunday: 10am to 4pm
• Bank Holiday Monday: 7am to 8pm
Morrisons have also launched an exclusive food box available just in time for the bank holiday.
The newly launched Aperol Cocktail Box contains everything you need for a refreshing Aperol Spritz.
It means there’s no need to worry if you haven’t been able to get your hands on a pub or restaurant booking as restrictions have lifted across the UK.
The box contains everything you need to make a round of the classic summer cocktail.

It includes a 70cl bottle of Aperol, Mionetto Prosecco and Morrisons Soda Water.
There is even an orange to slice and use as a garnish.
Thrown in is also a delicious selection of Morrisons snacks.
Included in the box are Morrisons The Best Gruyere & Poppy Seed Twists, Morrisons The Best Lightly Salted Crisps and Morrisons The Best nocellara Olives.
