The British supermarket Marks and Spencer is most famed for its tasty Percy Pig line.
Launched in 1992, Percy Pig started as just a packet of sweets in the store with cute little pink pigs made out of a real pig in the form of gelatin.
Marks and Spencer quickly saw how popular the sweets were and turned the product into its own brand, giving Percy a story and along the way plenty of new products.
The latest to join the line-up is a Percy Pig Cake in a Jar.
Announcing the new product that dropped yesterday, M&S made the announcement on its official Instagram account.
It wrote: "*ANOTHER PERCY ALERT* – stop what you’re doing – it’s Percy Pig in a Jar!"
The supermarket added: "Out today and ready to slot perfectly into your busy life. Take him to a picnic, give him to a friend… have him as the favours on your big day – the options are endless!
"A jar of layered, cakey, percy-licious jammy goodness awaits you."
They are made with Madeira sponge, layered with raspberry jam, raspberry jelly pieces, fruity buttercream, finished with freeze-dried raspberries, and, of course, a Percy Pig!
Food reviewer Kevs Snacks Reviews on Instagram, who boasts 109,000 followers and regularly reviews new food on the market, said it tastes "tasty and very sweet".
Kev wrote in his review on his Instagram: "This is of course, tasty and very sweet.
"The jelly pieces are interesting, giving a chewy texture, the other elements like the jam and buttercream are lovely although very sweet. The freeze-dried raspberries bring a little zing.
"The Percy sweet maybe doesn’t go with the cake but it’s a fun touch.
"Overall, I thought this was pretty tasty and indulgent although it’s certainly on the sweet side so be warned."
The reviewer gave the product a high eight out of 10.
