A woman has spent a fortune on transforming her semi-detached home into a pink palace.
Maria Alison's love for pink interiors really took off when her stepdad Michael Heslop, 64, bought her a kettle and toaster in the colour.
The 29-year-old purchased the home in 2019 when her fiancé Aaron Mordey, 30, decided to buy a pink motorbike himself.
She even has a special pink bedroom for her dogs Jeff, an Alaskan malamute Siberian husky cross and Bow, a Siberian husky.
Since her first purchase for her pink palace, Maria estimates the transformation has cost her at least £10,000 so far.
But as the figure only includes bigger items, the business owner, from Sunderland, reckons it could be more.
She said: "The strangest thing is I'm a real tomboy – I'm into cars and stuff like that.
"I've never really been a girly-girl but I've just always liked pink.
"A full section of my wardrobe is dedicated just for pink now – I don't wear it every day but I do have a lot of it."
Maria and her husband-to-be moved into the home when everything was mainly grey.

But then as time went on, she realised how much she liked the colour pink and luckily Aaron was keen on the idea.
She added: "I'm trying to get rid of the grey now, I prefer pink and white but obviously it's hard to do everything at one time.
"When we first moved in we ripped the old kitchen out and put a new kitchen in.
"I've never ever paid anyone for labour, we've done it all ourselves like panelling – everything. We just watch YouTube and learn."

Maria often has pink items given to her as gifts or she buys the smaller accessories herself when she's doing her weekly shop.
And the only time the couple have disagreed is when it came to the room for their dogs as Aaron wanted to paint it yellow.
She continued: "I would like to make it all pink but I would feel bad as one of them is a boy.
"Jeff's this big male dog that's almost 10st."

When it comes to decorating, Maria insists she doesn't like to copy others.
She concluded: "I get a lot of inspiration on Instagram but I'll always try and find my own style.
"I thought maybe I could actually do this as a living because people seem to like the style that I've got.
"I really enjoy it so eventually I would like the website to be my full-time job but these things take time."
