A MUM has revealed an easy and thoughtful Christmas gift idea that costs just £3 to make.

If you're still struggling to come up with a good Christmas gift for your loved one then this personalised gift is a life-saver.


Erin, from London, UK, shared the easy gift idea in a TikTok video on her account – Mum Life with Erin.

The genius gift idea can easily be recreated and all you need is some paper, a printer and a photo frame.

The mum-of-two said: "If like all of us, you're a little strapped for cash this Christmas I made a couple of DIY presents for people that I think cost me £3."

Erin revealed all you need to do is ask the gift-receiver what their favourite song is and what their favourite line in the song is.

Then find the lyrics online and copy them to a Microsoft Word document.

She then shows an example of one she made of the song 'His Eye is on the Sparrow.'

Erin added: "Get their favourite line and put it in a bigger font separately to the lyrics.

"At the top you just put the name of the song and who it's sung by.

She then suggests heading to The Range or a charity shop to get a frame for the printed lyrics.

Erin explained: "It's not a lot but I think it's a really thoughtful gift and it doesn't break the bank."

The video was a hit on the social media app and soon went viral with over 40k views.

People loved the thoughtful gift idea and how cheap it was.

One wrote: "That's so special, great idea."
