The Only Way is Essex is celebrating its 10 year anniversary and to commemorate the occasion, fans were treated to a throwback episode on Sunday night.

Viewers were shown Essex royalty Chloe Sims' first scene on the show again and fans couldn't get over how different the mum-of-one looks.

The 37-year-old burst onto our screens in 2011, with her first appearance showing her walk into Amy Childs' salon.

Chloe is seen wearing a large pair of sunglasses and her hair considerably darker than her current blonde locks.

"The changing faces of Chloe..#TOWIE," one viewer wrote on Twitter.

"10 years on and Chloe Sims is still there. She's gonna be like Gail from Corrie," another fan tweeted.

Another viewer added: "Chloe has changed," along with a shocked face GIF.

Other viewers expressed how much they loved seeing Chloe's first appearance on the hit reality show.

Since appearing on the show, Chloe has had her fair share of love life drama, and it looks like that is set to continue as she and Pete Wicks spoke about their relationship later on in the episode.

Coming face to face at the white party at The Sugar Hut, Pete confessed to Chloe that he was taking a break from the Essex scene for a while.

"I wasn't that fussed about coming tonight, but I thought I needed to come and see you.

"I have not enjoyed this week, not seeing you, but I felt like it was the best thing for us," Pete admitted.

Chloe agreed that the pair needed space, before telling her co-star that she was left shocked when he revealed they had blurred the lines in a counselling session with Anna Williamson.

"Obviously Anna was a professional, so it's good to take her advice on this one I think.

"It wasn't supposed to all come out the way it did," Pete said.

"I just can't believe you blurted it out, I know it's a therapy session and you're meant to tell the truth, but it's always been our secret," Chloe explained.

"I know people had their thoughts about it, but to confirm it, I was a little bit shocked."

Pete tried to explain his reasoning behind their two year affair and said: "I didn't do it for any reason other than I think we have both carried it for the past couple of years and it's not done us much good, it needed to be said."
