Levi Davis, 24, has been missing for over a week after last being seen on October 29 at an old Irish pub in Barcelona, Spain. His X Factor co-star and pal Thom Evans, 37, has taken to Instagram to share his concern for his friend in the hope many will come forward with information on his whereabouts.
I’m very worried!
Davis, who now plays for Worthing Raiders in National League 2 South, performed on X Factor: Celebrity in 2019 with fellow rugby stars Ben Foden and Thom Evans as Try Star.
This has led Thom to share his concern on Instagram in view of his 276,000 followers in an effort to help find his friend.
Along with a missing poster, Thom shared the heart-wrenching message: “I’m very worried about the whereabouts of my friend @thelelife_.
“If anyone knows anything please contact the information below.”
Davis’ former club, Bath Rugby, issued an appeal for information on the star, who was last seen on October 29 at The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona.
He was out with friends at the pub, off the popular tourist hotspot named La Rambla.
The appeal has described him as 5ft 9in (176cm) tall and said anyone with information can email [email protected]
Former England player Tom Varndell also urged anyone who had recently seen Davis to make contact.
Writing on Twitter, Varndell said: “If anyone has seen or heard from Levi Davis in the last two weeks could you please drop me a message asap. Many thanks.”
Levi’s concerned mother Julie has also spoken to The Sun in an effort to help the safe return of the rugby player.
She said: “Levi’s family and I are very worried about him and desperate to know that he is OK.
“Levi please get in touch with us or if anyone knows anything please contact us.
“Nobody has heard from him since Oct 29 when he was last known to be in The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona.”
Levi posted to Instagram just two weeks ago as he shared a ripped beach side snap from his travels.
He also recently shared a throwback with fellow rugby lads Thom and Ben from their time on X Factor in 2019.
In 2020 Levi became the first professional player to come out as bisexual in a brave interview.
Levi came out to his teammates in their Whatsapp group chat with the message reading: “Hi guys. I just want to tell you something that’s been eating away at me for four years now.
“I want to be open and honest with you boys, as friends and team-mates. I’m bisexual. It’s something I have known since I was 18.”
He ended the message by joking that, because of their stocky appearance, “none of you lot are on my radar so it’s OK”.
Express.co.uk has contacted reps for Levi Davis and the Spanish Police for comment.
