The Chases Mark Labbett unrecognisable as he shows off 10st weight loss in Christmas snap

Fans of the The Chase have been left stunned after Mark Labbett shared photographs of his incredible weight transformation.

The quiz show champion, who is known as The Beast on the ITV show, shared a photograph of himself backstage at a pantomime, where his 10 stone weight loss is clearly visible.

Mark is playing the villain Fleshcreep in the Jack and the Beanstalk show at the Northwich theatre in Cheshire this festive season.

In a behind-the-scenes snap, Mark is seen wearing black eyeliner from his stage make-up and holding up the board game version of Pointless – The Chase's rival quiz show.

He jokingly captioned the post: “This was my secret Santa at the Northwich Panto. I suspect Richard Osman.”

Fans were so distracted by Mark's weight loss that they soon took to the comments section to compliment the star.

One person wrote: “Just got to say this you look absolutely amazing. Way to go with losing so much weight. Have a fabulous Christmas.”

Another commented: “Almost didn’t recognise you, really smashed the weightloss.”

A third gushed: “Holy Moly Mark! I didn’t recognise you!”

The latest picture comes after Mark showed progress pictures at the beginning of the year.

The famous chaser was one a 5XL and in January had slimmed down three clothing sizes to a 2XL, losing eight inches from his chest.

In a topless selfie on Instagram, Mark, 56, penned: “Down to 52 inch chest from 60. So was 5XL now 2XL. Still a lot of work to do.”

At the time fans were quick to comment on how well he was looking.

One person praised: “Way to go Mark! I’ve lost 87 pounds and kept it off! Nothing feels as good as being healthy.”

Another agreed, writing: “Health is better than wealth, looking good Mark!”

“Oh my goodness! Keep going Mark. Hard work paying off. It does wonders for your self esteem – it’s so worth it, well done you,” another wrote.

Last month, Mark showed off his incredible 10 stone weight loss during an appearing on Loose Women.

Dressed in a purple shirt and blazer, Mark explained that he lost the weight with a series of simple but effective changes, overhauling his diet after being diagnosed with diabetes.
