Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid, 50, and her ex-boyfriend, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish, 55, have sparked rumours that they’ve reconciled after going on an intimate lunch date together. The couple were seen having lunch at the Ham Yard Hotel in London over the weekend, suggesting that they could be headed for a reunion after parting ways last year.
I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re very good friends
Appearing world’s away from her usual on-screen, glam self, Susanna nailed off-duty chic in a black jumpsuit paired with nude heeled wedges and oversized sunglasses.
With her shoulder-length hair blown out in a straight style, Susanna wore a statement across the body bag and a silver watch to complete her casual weekend look.
Sitting opposite each other while dining al fresco, Susanna looked deep in thought as she put pen to paper, while Steve spent time relaxing on his phone.
However, once their food had appeared, Steve took no time at all in generously dishing out the shared plates.
The ITV host split from the football chairman in April last year after they started dating in August 2018.
Joking about the break-up on GMB, Susanna said that their separation was “all down” to her then co-presenter Piers Morgan.
She told him: “These things happen. Let’s not dwell. I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re very good friends.”
However, last year, a source told The Sun that the duo have been spending more time together.
They said: “They’ve obviously decided to give things another go and have been together quite frequently recently.
“Steve has been over a few times. It’s quite conspicuous when he goes there because he has a very flash car.”
They added that the pair always got on well together.
Prior to her romance with the Crystal Palace chairman, Susanna was in a long-term relationship with sports journalist Dominic Cotton for 16 years.
The pair parted ways in 2016 and share three sons, Sam, Jack and Finn together.
In November 2019, the GMB presenter insisted that she will never get married.
Shortly after her split from Steve, Susanna vowed that she wouldn’t marry.
Speaking to her co-host Piers, Susanna stressed: “I’ll never marry.”
Astonished, Piers asked: “Are you still of the never marrying camp?” (sic)
Susanna responded: “Yes I am. Nope. No.”
Susanna also addressed the time Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper asked her out.
In her MailOnline column, the ITV star revealed that got the “shock of her life” when the A Star Is Born actor asked her out live on air, which she never followed up on.
Express.co.uk has contacted Susanna’s and Steve’s representatives for comment.
