Motsi Mabuse is one of the beloved judges of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. However, the star has now updated her Instagram followers about how’s she’s letting the show go for a while as she changes up her hairstyle.
Posting earlier today, Motsi opened up in a video to her 517,000 followers on the app.
She was posing as someone did her hair as she admitted “Strictly’s finally over”.
Motsi said: “Hey guys, so we’re finally taking the hair down.
“I think Strictly is finally over.
“I have to say goodbye.”
She also tagged her hairstylist Alisha Dobson in the video.
From her Instagram profile, it seems like the star works to create Motsi’s looks on Strictly.
She’s also worked with Jessie J, Hailee Steinfeld and Rita Ora.
The star also shared a look at her snow-covered surroundings in her story as well.
The adorable video features her chatting with her daughter as they discuss how it’s warm outside.
Motsi last returned to the Strictly dancefloor for the Christmas special in December.
She also shared her congratulations after the 2021 champions, Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis were crowned.
Motsi penned a goodbye message alongside a video of her walking out of the Strictly studios back on December 19.
Alongside this, she wrote: “She has left the country lol …..
“Thank you @bbcstrictly. Every year I grow a little bit more.
“This has been without a doubt been my favorite season because of The Love and Support I have had from my community, all those that decided I am their person. (sic)
“All those who embraced me, you made me stronger !!!!
“See you soon guys now it’s back to real life.”
Many of Motsi’s friends and co-stars reacted to her message with their support.
Zoe Ball wrote: “Love you lady. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones x.”
Giovanni replied with a simple fire and love heart emoji.
