Stacey Solomon took to Instagram and offered her condolences to Ashley Cain and his girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee. The two have shared their heartbreaking journey with fans after their baby Azaylia Cain Diamond was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukaemia at just eight weeks old. The Loose Women panellist has since taken to the picture-sharing site where she penned a tearful post to the couple.
In view of her 4.4 million followers, Stacey shared a message shared by former footballer Ashley, which read: “She’s proof that you can walk through hell and still be an angel.”
The mum-of-three added her own message, saying: “Heartbreaking… I’m so sorry to every single child and parent who is suffering, has suffered and will never stop suffering.
“It is so cruel and so unfair. Rest in paradise Azaylia.”
Other celebrities have also penned heartfelt tributes to baby Azaylia following the tragic news.
Alesha Dixon said on her Instagram: “Rest in eternal peace beautiful Azaylia. You’ve touched all of our hearts little lion.”
Samantha Faiers wrote on Ashley’s post: “Rest in peace little angel. You’re in a beautiful place surrounded by nothing but love.”
Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague penned: “Heaven has gained the sweetest angel. My heart is broken.”
Kate Ferdinand also commented on the post to share her sympathies. She wrote: “So heartbroken for you all, rest in eternal peace beautiful Azaylia. sending you so much love.”
Comedian Mo Gilligan shared his sadness over the news: “Absolutely heartbreaking bro.
“Sending my thoughts and positivity to you and your loved ones during this difficult time.”
Earlier this month, Ashley revealed in a heartbreaking Instagram video that his little girl could only have “days to live”.
They decided to take her home from the hospital to enjoy any remaining time they had with her.

The couple shared numerous updates daily, documenting the highs and lows of their journey.
A fundraiser to try to help save her life had reached more than £1.5 million in order to get specialist treatment in Singapore.
Posting an image of Azaylia in his arms, Cain wrote: “Rest In Paradise Princess. I will always hold you in my heart until I can hold you again in heaven.”
Safiyya also posted a picture of herself cradling her daughter, writing: “You are my angel, my heartbeat, my soul.
“RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.”
After a successful bone marrow transplant, Azaylia’s leukaemia had rapidly multiplied and she had gone into a full relapse.
Doctors told the couple that chemotherapy would not be enough to cure her.
Ashley and partner Safiyya were told by nurses to make the most of their time with Azaylia this weekend.
