The 53-year-old musician was reportedly set to appear at various speaking engagements to promote Then It Fell Apart.

‘I’m going to go away for awhile,’ he wrote. ‘But before I do I want to apologize again, and to say clearly that all of this has been my own fault.’

His gigs at the Manchester Literary Festival, Earth London, Dublin’s Liberty Hall and the Hay Festival were canceled.

‘I am the one who released the book without showing it to the people I wrote about,’ he continued online. ‘I’m the one who posted defensively and arrogantly. I’m the one who behaved inconsiderately and disrespectfully, both in 2019 and in 1999.

‘There is obviously no one else to blame but me. Thank you, and I’m sorry.’

He claimed that Portman asked him out on a date after one of his show’s in 2001.

‘I was a bald binge drinker and Natalie Portman was a beautiful movie star. But here she was in my dressing room, flirting with me,’ he wrote.

Not great: He also wrote that Lana Del Rey rejected his advances while on a date when the Young and Beautiful singer was an up-and-coming musician in New York; seen in November

When Natalie denied the accusations and recalled the encounter as ‘creepy,’ Moby apologized to Portman for including her in the book, but did not issue a retraction of the claims waged against the Black Swan star.

He also wrote that Lana Del Rey rejected his advances while on a date when the Young and Beautiful singer was an up-and-coming musician in New York.

Moby — who’s real name is Richard Melville Hall — called Lana after meeting at a bar and they chatted for 30 minutes before setting up a time to get together.

After bypassing his advances and leaving his Central Park West penthouse, Moby wrote that he had different plans for the night.

‘I’d assumed that we would end up christening my new apartment with vodka and sex,’ he wrote. ‘But to my surprise, this was almost nicer.’

He also revealed that he took a young Christina Ricci back to his hotel room after his final concert stop at the Greek in Los Angeles in September 2000.

Moby said that they sat on his balcony and watched the sun rise while drinking more champagne and kissing.
